Joel C. hopefully in tandem (not on a real tandem) w/ Michelle C. & Kalan will lead the ride to the Dallas Trails. If weather becomes inordinately crappy, we may ride the Black Rock trails. The BR trials remain ‘buff’ in rain/wind/snow, unlike the Dallas trails, which become creeks mingled w. sections of cement-like mud. Please direct questions to joel@bikepeddler.net. Cheers.

Ever wanted to get out, into the wild, work on your single-track, cross-country, all-mountain and downhill skills?
Have you been wondering what all the buzz about Black Rock, Dallas, Silvercreek Falls and Shelburg is all about?
Well want and wait no more! Every Sunday, starting at 10:00 AM, join Joel Cleland, Eric Vickers and many other Bike Peddler employees on a afternoon group mountain bike ride. The theme of the ride is XC and all ranges of riders are welcome; EVEN GIRLS! In fact, we highly encourage a female turnout and who knows, you might even get to ride with the amazing, talented and charismatic Michelle Cleland (she rules).
Bring your bike, your gear, your helmet and a great attitude. Remember, pack some food, tools and stay hydrated.
The group will meet at the Bike Peddler and, from there, decide the ride details/location and theme.
The ride scheduled for 2/24/13 will be headed to the Dallas trails. If weather is foul then we will ride the Falls City/Black Rock trails.

On Saturday, June 9th, from 11:00 am to 9:00 pm, join your friends and fellow cyclists for the first Bicycle Ride-In of the year.
Ride your bike to the downtown location of Venti’s and receive 20% off any appetizer or entree.
Two, on-street, parking spaces will be provided for bicycle parking and you will be entered to win gift cards and prizes from both the Bike Peddler and Venti’s.

Join your girlfriends, at the Bike Peddler, for a women’s-only group ride. The ride departs the Bike Peddler, the last Wednesday of every month, at 6:00 PM. This is an excellent opportunity to meet new, exciting people and improve your cycling fitness.
There is no need to register for this event, just show up with your bike, be ready to ride and have fun.

Join us for music and bike talk. Redray Frazier and our own Tom Nunes will be performing at the Bike Peddler. Ray has toured and biked all over the world with David Byrne, author of The Bicycle Diaries. Redray will be sharing some of his stories.
This year the Bike Peddler and Specialized are promoting national Women’s Ride Day on March 18th. This series of events will be hosted by Specialized Dealers who share the commitment to getting more women riding. Each event will be centered around an organized on-or-off road ride that caters to a wide range of riding abilities, creating an enjoyable and memorable experience.
Starting at 9:00 am this March 18th, join your friends and fellow riders at the Bike Peddler for an organized road ride, led by an experienced Bike Peddler girl! Refreshments will be available and so will several test bikes! Whether you own your own ride or are in the process of determining what bicycle interests you, don’t miss this opportunity to get some real hands-on experience with the best staff, equipment and bicycles Salem has to offer. We are really looking forward to meeting all the new faces!
